We have lived in Switzerland for almost 4 months now! Time goes so quickly. Unfortunately, we haven't had much of a chance to travel because Chase has been sick pretty much the whole time! We did make an effort to go to a few nearby places.
I have marked them on the map below to show that we've not traveled very far (we live in Morges -- the western-most pin on the map below).
I went on a post-doc retreat in the beginning of November, and families could join the second day. We went on an epic hike in the mountains. It was definitely the most Swiss place we've visited so far!
In November, for Thanksgiving, Annie came to visit us from France. With her, we went to Montreax and discovered a huge Christmas market with a ferris wheel! We definitely want to go back sometime when we have more time to spend there.
We hope to visit many more places in the new year, especially outside of French Switzerland!
